Taucho is Tenerife’s most accessible paragliding site, located in Costa Adeje with year-round stable conditions perfect for nervous first-timers. The gentle slope requires just a few steps to launch, while consistent trade winds create smooth, predictable flights over stunning coastal views. Landing directly on La Caleta beach means you’ll finish your adventure with your feet in the sand and a beachside bar just steps away.
Tips for passengers – The meeting place with your pilot will be at the landing place at Playa de la Enramada.
Tips for pilots – Solo pilots should land at Tu Trebol, while Playa de la Enramada is reserved for tandem flights. To reach the takeoff, join the local pilots’ WhatsApp group for rideshares or take a taxi—typically €10-15. There is also weather station for Taucho takeoff which you can check
Ifonce Adeje
Altitude: 100m | Duration: 15-20 minutes | Best For: Intermediate flyers, scenic enthusiasts
Ifonche sits higher than Taucho at 1,000 meters, positioned at the mouth of the Barranco del Infierno ravine for extended flight times and spectacular scenery. The extra altitude allows your pilot to work thermal winds for longer airtime, while you soar over protected nature reserves featuring the dramatic Roques del Conde and Roques de Imoque rock formations. You’ll see the entire Adeje Valley, mountain slopes, and Atlantic Ocean from a higher, more expansive perspective than Taucho offers. Conditions remain stable and smooth thanks to Ifonche’s geography, which channels trade winds while minimizing turbulence. It’s the perfect “step up” experience—more altitude and views than Taucho.
